Painted from photo on 9x12 Canvas in Genesis Heat-Set Oils

Painted for son, Todd.   This photo is not as good as I'd like but it got matted framed and wrapped by Dave before I could get another. At least it will give you an idea. :-)

Both sons made last minute requests for their own painted pieces from Mama for Christmas -- something which surprised and pleased me.  Panic'd me too as Todd made his request early evening Friday night and Bryan placed his late Saturday afternoon after seeing Todd's finished piece.  LOL  Goofy big boys they are!  Mama kicked into high gear and finished both pieces in 27 hours.

Todd's piece is painted from a photo I took on a trip up to Black Hawk this past summer with all my kids. I thought that piece would be a good memory for Todd of that day. We were such a large party we had two vehicles so I was with others in one and Todd was with the rest of the group in the other. I had the camera strapped around my wrist with my arm hanging out the window snapping photos at random left and right. C-119 Highway is just beautiful and I got some gorgeous snaps that day. Anyway, all of the sudden my cell phone rings and I hear Todd's voice megaphoning me with "Ladies and Gentlemen - please keep your hands and arms inside the ride at all times!" ROTFLOL He is such a nut and can always make me laugh.  :-D
