Morning Glories My second project with pure oil paints ... and the subject matter is my absolute favourite flower of all ... yes, even more so than roses. :-) This project took almost 2 weeks due to constant activity for the house sale and having to stop and start days again days later. I learned the truth of the *plus-side* for Genesis Paints in their heat-set factor. I finally had to go with a "wet-palette" to keep my oil paints from drying out during the time between painting sessions. I challenged myself with this pattern ... a bit advanced for this beginner and I had a lot of moments where I beat myself up for tackling it ... but I learned TONS !! :-)
