Max's Train I found these unfinished wood train pieces at Michaels. Each train piece and letters were just $0.99 each and naturally, I had to do them for Max's room. The train pieces connect with strong magnets to each other and the wheels turn so it actually can be played with. I painted with DecoArt Americana Paints to match the rest of his nursery decor (which you can see in the 09/03 folder above) and I put plenty of Final Coat on it for our little grandson -- Max is a rough & tumble, all-boy little guy already at 1-1/2 years old! It's absolutely nothing spectacular in painting challenges ... but Max loved it and that makes this piece worth of his grammy's painting diary! LOL |
