The pattern was my own design and loosely based on a tissue box sitting on my painting table.  :-)
The colour scheme was of my choice.

The painting was done entirely with Jansen Art Traditions paints - using the 1 Ounce Sampler Kit.  I learned a great deal about the paints themselves as well as creating my own colour mixes.  I also learned to use a soap-stone pencil which was a tool that had previously collected dust on my painting table!  :-)   

I truly truly love the JAT paints -- they are my favourite of all acrylics and ones I will continue to work with for my personal painting pleasure.

Please ignore my lack of perspective and skill with this endeavor ... this is my very first landscape and my very first perspective-required type of drawing!  lol  The project was done for my personal learning skill of colour mixing, colour theory and for the pure fun of trying a landscape on canvas which was also a new surface for me!  :-)
