In-Shoppe Learning Center Q&A's

Q: Need I attend my class on the same day every week?

A: No, that is not necessary UNLESS a particular class is booked solid in which case that class would be marked FULL and closed for registration with a "request for stand-by" available on that class.

Q: Do I pay lesson by lesson, i.e. week by week or month by month?

A: Your choice! I'm a firm believer that life comes first and that means your personal schedule comes first too. Life happens and you should not have to pay for the occasional class that you have not been able to attend. Students who choose to pay for classes by the month, however, will receive a 10% discount off the monthly fee. :-) Students who miss their scheduled class 4 times in a row will be removed from registration and their seat will be filled from the stand-by registrants roster.

Q: Should I expect to be doing one painting a week?

A: That depends on you! Each student will get to choose their painting medium and their painting project each week and they will work at their own pace as is comfortable for them. Some students may not learn as quickly as others and will require more time to complete a project. Some projects are more detailed than other projects and will require more time to complete. Varying factors will determine whether you complete a project each week. Remember too -- this is supposed to be FUN for you so there is no pressure or stress on your class time schedule except what YOU make of it. :-)

Our street is still pretty new and not easily mapped by Yahoo or Mapquest so I'm attaching a map with instructions for you. Just click on the mini picture to enlarge it. You can find us easiest by taking E-470 to Quincy, turn East (left if you're coming from the North or right if you're coming from the South) on Quincy to Gun Club Road, turn South/Right on Gun Club Road to Belleview (there is HUGE red-roofed covered bridge on Belleview-- you can't miss it!), turn East/Left on Belleview to Buchanan and turn North/Left on Buchanan to the first street which is Bellewood Drive, then turn left and we're on the left side of the street -- the stone house #23648 :-D There are toll fees on E-470, of course, so you may find that gets too costly for you but we find its worth it in time and gas alone to quickly get North and South in the Metro area.
